An Exhilarating Links Golf Experience in The Tetons
Designed as a New American Links-Style Golf experience, the Grand Teton Club course is a walking-first, destination-caliber layout that feels inseparable from its surroundings. Routed through the land’s natural basins and ridgelines, the course takes full advantage of subtle rolls, dips, and native terrain—creating the movement, width, and strategic interest that define authentic links golf.
World-Class Golf Experience

Created by Oliphant Golf, the 18-hole course at the Grand Teton Club is a New American links-style design that balances strategic intent with a deep sense of place. Carefully contoured greens, purposeful bunkering, and open approaches reward thoughtful shot-making, while wide fairways and panoramic Teton views establish an unhurried, immersive rhythm of play.
The result is a course that engages focus without demanding force—where challenge and enjoyment coexist, and where the surrounding landscape is as integral to the experience as the golf itself.

An Exhilarating Links Golf Experience in The Tetons
The golf course at Grand Teton is an American links-style destination course designed by Craig Haltom and routed through the site's natural contours, including large basins and ridges, and a sea of subtle rolls and dips that make authentic links style golf possible.
Multiple lines of play open on each hole, and like the best old courses in Britain, the approaches are open and allow shots to run onto the green. The course is wide and has a scale that matches its amazing surrounds, with the Teton mountains framing every golf hole.

Craig Haltom is a visionary golf course architect, builder, and industry leader who has helped bring numerous world-class golf projects to life. His work seamlessly blends artistry, environmental sensitivity, and thoughtful golf strategy, resulting in memorable courses that are a joy to play.
Craig’s comprehensive involvement in projects—often extending from initial concept to planting the final seed and beyond—reflects a throwback approach that echoes the early pioneers of professional golf design from a bygone era. Craig and his company have provided construction support for the very best architects of our current Golden Age of golf design, and he has quietly established an acclaimed portfolio of his own design work.
His design philosophy emphasizes natural, strategic, and sustainable golf, drawing inspiration from classic links and Golden Age architecture.

“The site embodies everything we envisioned. Expansive playing corridors, the potential for a fast fescue playing surface, and natural contours that reward the ground game are inherent to the land and remain largely untouched. With minimal intervention required, the course reveals itself as true links-style golf set dramatically against the mountains. Even during construction, it’s clear this will be a distinctive, engaging, and unforgettable golf experience.”
