Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding

Certainly, one of America’s most famous ski destinations, and rated by Forbes Magazine as America’s Top Ski Resort, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort boasts vast and varied terrain spread over two mountains: Rendezvous Mountain and Après Vous Mountain. Rendezvous Mountain offers the most challenging terrain, with steep chutes, bowls, and cliffs, whereas the smaller Après Vous Mountain provides a mix of intermediate and beginner slopes. With one of the highest vertical drops in North America, an average snowfall of around 450 inches of cold smoke powder a year, and over $180 Million invested into the resort in recent years, including a breathtaking gondola that takes passengers (skiers and non-skiers alike) some 4,100 feet up the hill to the facilities high above the Valley floor, with amazing views, and even better skiing back down the hill.

Grand Targhee Resort

Not to be missed is Grand Targhee Resort, just 25 miles away from
The Grand Teton Club. Located in the expansive Caribou-Targhee
National Forest, the mountain enjoys more than 500 inches of snow
annually and is a little more laid back than Jackson Hole with increased
privacy. With smaller crowds and even more snowfall than Jackson Hole
Mountain Resort, it’s a must-ski destination that is popular with families
and children.

Snow King Resort

Situated roughly 49 miles away, at the edge of Downtown Jackson is the smaller and cozier Snow King Resort. It has challenging terrain, night skiing, a family-friendly atmosphere, and glorious views of historic downtown Jackson.

Big Sky Resort

For those willing to travel a bit farther, Big Sky Resort in Montana—about a 2.5-hour drive—is another exceptional option. Known for “the biggest skiing in America,” Big Sky offers more than 5,800 acres of terrain, 36 lifts, high elevations, and breathtaking views. Located near the Yellowstone Club and the vibrant city of Bozeman, the resort provides an impressive mix of outdoor recreation, dining, and entertainment.
