The Grand Teton Club: Medical Diagnostic Clinic

Grand Teton Club plans to be the first private community to offer world- class Healthspan/Lifespan resources through its Grand Teton Institute (GTI). This dedicated non-profit private research institute will build an advanced medical clinic, and conference/education center will be similar in intention to clinics such as:

The Human Longevity Institute

(founded by Peter Diamandis, and Dr. J. Craig Venter).
Health Nucleus advanced medical diagnostic clinic located in San Diego, California.

Fountain Life

also co-founded by Peter Diamandis with several clinics located in Humanaut – Located in Austin, Texas and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Our clinic will offer Community Members and their families annual medical screenings—including full-body MRI, genome sequencing, blood panels, and other cutting-edge assessments—fully covered by HOA dues on an opt-in basis. We are committed to promoting a proactive approach to healthcare designed to improve both Healthspan and Lifespan.

The Grand Teton Institute – Dedicated to Research into the Diseases of Aging

We have established the non-profit Grand Teton Institute, funded by charitable contributions from our founders and friends. The Institute is dedicated to researching the Diseases of Aging. While many medical professionals view aging as a natural biological process rather than a disease, we—and several leading research organizations—embrace the philosophy that aging itself is a treatable biological condition. Many in the field go even further, identifying aging as the primary driver of disease and disability.

Humans have evolved in a way that makes most of us susceptible— beginning in our 50s—to three major categories of disease that are rare in young adults: cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative conditions. We believe that understanding why we are biologically programmed this way may help decode the genetic mechanisms that determine how long we can remain healthy before these diseases emerge. With continued research, it is likely that many of these conditions will eventually be eliminated or delayed by decades or more. Because health risks and predispositions often run in families, archiving a family’s genomes will be essential for understanding and addressing the specific vulnerabilities that may affect future generations.

We plan to donate homesites to several leading research institutes, enabling them to build residences with integrated workspaces that function as research retreats for their teams and our Community Members. These retreats will allow scientists to conduct meaningful work while becoming part of a community that deeply values their contributions. In addition, we intend to host conferences, symposiums, fireside chats, and summits focused on emerging medical technologies—many of which will be simulcast. We have already received favorable responses from several institutions and are working to finalize the homesite donation program.

For those interested in gerontology and the science of aging, the following research organizations are among those making significant strides toward future medical breakthroughs:

  • Buck Institute for Research on Aging, Novato, California

  • Salk Institute for Biological Studies, San Diego, California

  • The Gladstone Institute at UC San Francisco

  • SENS Research Foundation, Mountain View, California

  • The Church Lab, in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School

Proactive Medical Care

The Grand Teton Club advocates for the judicious exploration and utilization of the latest technologies, as well as innovative health technologies available in the coming years. The Healthspan/Lifespan lifestyle actively promotes this proactive approach to healthcare.
